In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:4-5
In His, Jesus Christ, is fierce life. Life to everything!
Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17
" And the darkness has not overcome it." That word overcome is katalambano in the Greek. It means to seize, to grasp, to comprehend, to possess, to find, to perceive (to make one's own eagerly, aggressively).
Lesson 18: The darkness cannot get a hold on the fierce light of life found only in Jesus Christ.
