January began with seeking the Lord "With all my heart" and flowed into February's "Surrender". To love the Lord my God with my whole heart requires a surrender to His will not mine. The calendar rolls over to March. How did it come so quickly? The Lord places verses with the key word "Consume" before me.
May my life be one consumed with the God who gave all for me. Consumed by the one who gave up divinity to become a man who was tempted like me, who would suffer and bleed for me. May my life be consumed with His glory.
May you find His blood speaks a better word. May His body given for you cause gratitude to arise in your life daily. This month, may you remember all Jesus gave and become consumed with loving and surrendering to Him more and more.
