There will be no more night in the city, and they will have no need for the light of a lamp or of the sun. For the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:5
I told the story several days ago about my fear of the dark, which is the night. Over and over in Scripture the Lord Jesus reminds that He is the light, I am the light, and one day the glory of God will shine so brightly there will be no more night. Now my human mind wonders, no more night, but Lord what about the beauty of the stars? Does He just mean the light of His life will so fill me that the night will no longer hold any fear? After all the darkness is like light to the Lord.
Lesson 22: Darkness, night, means the same as day to the Lord and I get to reign with Him forever over both.
