Thirty days have passed since I last visited this space. Thirty full days. Sixteen of those days were spent traveling across this amazing nation. The United States is majestic and wonderful. Mom and I traveled 5,106 miles in those sixteen days, through eleven states, across the continental divide at multiple locations, visiting one national park and many rivers as we traveled. So what do two old ladies do when traveling this way? We stop and pray for each state, for the nation, for the people, for the land. We stop and worship the Lord God Almighty in the high places. We ponder the Grace and Glory of the Lord God Almighty upon our lives, upon this land. We give thanks every day for the ability and freedom to travel from one side of the country to the other, east to west and back again.
We have been back home for about a week now. Pondering the ending of this assignment, asking the Father God for the next assignment. In the meantime we are blessed to live life with family and friends we missed while traveling - this is our sweet everyday life. Tomorrow begins a new month, July. It also begins a new Scripture reading list. The theme seems appropriate - FIGHT. May the Lord speak to your heart, encourage your soul, and grant you strength for the battles you are facing in your life. May you know deep down that God has gone before you, He fights for you, and He has already won the victory!!
