April's Reflections

From Biblehub.com:

Reflect: Hebrew word hahah - to meditate, moan, mutter, roar, imagine.

The lips utter what the heart ponders...what God stirs within inevitably finds expression before Him and others.

I read a Lysa TerKeurst quote:  What my mind focuses on, my mouth speaks and reveals who my master is.

From Biblehub.com:  Reflect: Hebrew word siach - to meditate, to speak, complain, ponder, study, consider.

Again, where is my mind dwelling?  The goodness of God or does my heart complain at the chaos?

Hebrew siach: to study.  Not just a quick read and move away.  A set aside time t o let the word do its work inside of me.

Three days, three pieces of art.  It is good to get back to a bit of a routine the last few days.  My mind has been in chaos, good, God filled chaos, but it has me very distracted.

So this week I choose to fix my mind of the peace of God in Christ Jesus that is mine.  Breathe deeply and inhale His peace, exhale deeply and let the cares of this world be released.
