April Scripture Reading List

The year is 2012 and the Lord God gave me the word Reflect to consider for a whole year.  My favorite verse from that season is 2 Corinthians 3:18:

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

The moon shines, like one with an unveiled face.  The photos I took in November of 2021 of the partial lunar eclipse, one of the longest for many years.

Today is April 1, 2026, the moon outside my window is full.  It is the beginning of Passover, a lamb was sacrificed for death to passover.  Jesus, my Passover lamb was sacrificed so death would passover me.  Resurrection Sunday is coming.  Just as surely as the earth's shadow transforms the face of the moon, so the shadow of the cross, the resurrection from the dead transforms me as I behold Jesus with unveiled face.

May you find Jesus as you reflect over these verses.
