Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Psalm 46:10
It has been a month of reevaluating what it means to be fierce in the spirit realm. What a journey! There are two bonus lessons for this Scripture reading list: Luke 22:26 Jesus redefines greatness through FIERCE HUMILITY AND SERVICE. 1 Timothy 6:6 teaches about the FIERCE GAIN found in contentment.
Now the Lord is asking me to rest. To take a Sabbath in the secret place. So I am surrendering to His leading. I am leaving the October Scripture Reading list here along with the final lesson for living a FIERCE LIFE.
"That is all God asks of you as His dear child. When you become weak through the fierce fires of affliction, do not try to "be strong". Just "be still, and know that [He is] God." And know that He will sustain you and bring you through the fire. God reserves His best medicine for our times of deepest despair." Streams in the Desert, Mrs. Charles Cowman
There are days to "be strong" and days to "be still" and it takes wisdom to listen and know what day it is.
Lesson 31: What looks fierce at first can yield the fruits of fierce peace and rest.
