April has been a month to reflect, to meditate on all the Lord has done, to ponder His mighty deeds. It has been a time to gather and honor women who have chosen to follow Jesus even in the midst of challenging circumstances. It has been a season to reflect the Light of Jesus forward. It has been a month to look into the heart and ask, Does my heart, does my life reflect what I say I believe.
As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart. Proverbs 27:19
Who I am will eventually be evident to others by my words and my actions. These truly reveal what is in my heart.
Philippians 1:27, Live as citizens who reflect the good news about Christ.
How I live matters. How I speak matters. God has revealed Himself by speaking. I also reveal myself by the words of my mouth. What do your words reveal about you? Do they reflect you belong to the King?
The beginning of April was filled with new things. Out of my comfort zone things. First time vendor event and a speaking event together with leading a prophetic art encounter.
The last two weeks has been quiet. The Lord has told me it is a transition season. New things are coming. In the meantime, I wait. Honestly, I have struggled in the wait. I want to move into the next thing. But my Father will not allow it.
A wise friend give good counsel: Be Still. We often anticipate instruction when the Lord just wants to sit with His friend.
So this last week of April I am being still. Out of my normal routine, sitting with the Lord Jesus and listening. In the listening these last few days I have felt a shift. Then I read in a daily devotional for this morning:
"Now is the time to begin making plans to MOVE FORWARD....we will start moving forward. Thank you Father for the deposit and release of the JOY OF THE LORD upon the earth." Find the book here.
Today is the day to release the Scripture reading/writing/art list for next month. How appropriate. weeks ago the Lord gave the word JOY for the month of May.
I pray as you move into a new month, new season, the Lord God Almighty will lead you forward with JOY!
