Old Testament instruction bleeds over into the New Testament. This is the verse I stand on over all, Love God, Love Others. Jesus said all the Law and the prophets hang on these two commandments (Matthew 22:40). This single statement binds the Law and its fulfillment in Christ together. The thing that binds is love, His great love for humanity. May I have heart posture of love so surrendered to the Father that it reaches out in love to others. God is love, may I live His love out loud for others to Behold Jesus.
Tomorrow is the last day of this WITH ALL MY HEART theme. February 1 begins a new theme - Surrender. When I love God Almighty WITH ALL MY HEART, I live a life of surrender to Him. Perhaps you will join along. Pick up a simple sketch book and whatever art medium you are comfortable with - colored pencils, watercolor, pastels, chalk (a bit messy but so fun). Choose a Bible translation for the listed Scripture. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, give creative insight for what to put on the page and how to live out the Scripture.
